    Whitehall Museum

    About

Built around 1500, Whitehall is a timber-framed Tudor house in the heart of Cheam Village. It contains exhibitions telling the stories of the people who lived at Whitehall and the history of the local area. The Nonsuch Palace Gallery includes a scale model of Henry VIII's fabulous Nonsuch Palace and a selection of pottery and architectural finds from the 1959 excavation. Changing exhibitions showcase local artists and displays about various topics using art and artefacts from Sutton's Museum Collections. Lots of activities for children and families including dressing-up clothes and toys. The tea room serves home-made cakes.
