Overview
You can tell the animals are really looked after at wild Ireland. If you manage to catch the keepers talks they’re really knowledgeable about the animals. They have animals that were native to Ireland but have been hunted to extinction in Ireland or have gone extinct due to the loss of natural habitat. They only do concessions for carer tickets, not a free one.
Transport & Parking
Plenty of parking and disabled parking spaces specifically for the venue without height restriction.
Access
Paths were wide and flat but slightly bumpy. Amazing views of the animals because there were no fences blocking you from seeing.
Toilets
They did have an accessible toilet but I didn’t use it.
Staff
Keepers were very knowledgeable about their animals. If you are able to catch the keeper talks it’s well worth it because the lynx and the wolves only came out when the keeper was there.
