The centre had sensory backpacks at the front desk available at request. These included some fidget toys, ear defenders and a social story for the whole centre. There is also a discombobulation room downstairs near the soft play which has a dimmable light switch you can control the lighting with, padded floor and walls and a rope you can put across for privacy. Every show had a box of ear defenders for anyone to use. The outside eating area by the Chalk Stream is much quieter than the other areas. There was also a sign in the toilets saying the accessible toilets had quiet hand dryers. The only issue was that the backpacks and room weren't signposted at the entrance. And to get to the Planetarium show, the queue goes through the gift shop (which was a problem for us). There is a accessible waiting area but, with retrospect, I would have walked back through the reception even though that wasn't the signposted route.
