Overview

Booking and paying for tickets in advance reduced queuing to visit the castle to less than 5 mins. Staff were so kind and helpful with lifts and alternative access so we saw parts of the castle most other visitors miss. There is virtually no parking immediately outside the castle, but I was fortunate to find a disabled space on the street - public car parks in Windsor are some distance from the castle. My elderly mum had a lovely day out and the weather was gorgeous too!

Transport & Parking

No disabled parking outside the castle for space and security reasons. I was fortunate to find a disabled space on the street opposite the castle entrance.

Access

There was a lift and staff to escort us to access the state rooms. Everyone was very kind and helpful. There are very few places to sit down - Mum has a rollator with a seat so she was ok, but the rest of us were often left standing.
