Wraxall Yard is an excellent place to stay if you're happy being in a quiet place in the countryside. The facilities are amazing in the cottages. Sorry not to have photos but there are plenty on the website. Here's some of the benefits: wet room bathrooms; profiling beds in one of the bedrooms and double bed in the other. Height adjustable kitchen sink (electric); plenty of room to manoeuvre wheelchair or mobility scooter; boardwalk; quiet lanes from the door suitable for mobility scooters. Village shop about two miles along quiet road. Wraxall Yard has five cottages, all well equipped for self-catering. Dorchester is about eight miles from Wraxall Yard. Abbotsbury Swannery is a short drive from WY and is the only managed colony of nesting mute swans in the world.
