Perfect access for a day bird watching

Overview
Wanted somewhere open air and accessible on a busy bank holiday weekend. Slimbridge ticked all the boxes
Transport & Parking
Lots of disabled parking. I don't think you could get there via public transport -even if you can use public transport
Access
Apart from one hide, everywhere was accessible for me on a mobility scooter. I was particularly impressed that in a two storey bird watching hide overlooking the Severn there was a lift. Only slight gripe about that was there no seats on top level.
Toilets
Properly equipped disabled toilets. And I liked that there was a toilet block in the car park including a disabled toilet. If like me you always need the loo once you've arrived this is good

It is mainly open air. But visitors had to wear masks inside including inside the hides.
