The Wyvern Theatre auditorium has 635 seats and every seat is designed to be no further than 70ft from the stage. The venue offers a mixed programme of concerts, comedy, dance, drama, musical theatre and local amateur productions. The venue is wheelchair accessible and offers designated wheelchair spaces and facilities. Wyvern Theatre organises sign-language interpreted performances and discounted tickets for some of the biggest shows of the year. Please ask at the Ticket Office for information on our forthcoming signed performances. If you wish to take your dog into the venue's auditorium, please let us know when booking your ticket – we can then arrange an adjacent seat. Alternatively, dogs can be cared for by a member of staff.

brilliant venue for live music and shows

the wyvern theatre has nearly daily shows throughout the year and working in a care home for adults with physical disabilities aged 18? i book tickets in bulk, there is 4 seats in the front row for the complementary carer tickets and each wheelchair user sits next to the carer, there is also room for 2 more wheelchair uses in the box upstairs, we have seen pantos, live music, dramas, school plays, ice shows , circus acts, and 60s, 70s, and 80s music and magicians, comedians, our residents have always been made welcome, the only downside if a resident wants to buy souvenir or mementos it is upstairs and i have to go there to get them, but if the audience stands and dances they are not in front of our residents and they can still see, this can not be sid in all theatres
