We are a single storey, purpose built Youth Hostel with 80 beds in 15 bedrooms of 8/7/5/4/2 bedded which are all ensuite wet rooms. We have disabled facilities within the hostel and are situated within a village location 200 metres from the beach. The village is flat with 2 slipways onto the beach suitable for wheelchair users. We have a large drying room with laundry facilities and cafe bar open during the day, as well as serving breakfasts and evening meals daily. Disabled Access Information Provided by YHA Broad Haven

Disabled Access at YHA Broad Haven

All of our facilities are on the ground floor and have level access. Doors into communal areas are double doors. Two of our bedrooms have en-suite level access showers. These do not contain grab rails. There is another communal level access shower accessed via the corridor. This shower also does not have grab rails.

Accessible parking at YHA Broad Haven

There is ample parking in front of the hostel. There are no designated accessible bays. The car park is surfaced with tarmac and has a moderate slope down towards the sea. There is some lighting, although parts of the car park may be dark at night. From the car park there is a sloped tarmac pathway to the entrance. The first 7m of the path is at a gradient of 1:18 and the following 21m is at 1:12. If you let us know what time you are coming we will do our best to provide assistance moving to and from cars.

Toilets features at YHA Broad Haven

In the reception hall there is a unisex accessible WC fitted with grab rails. The door to the accessible WC is 775mm wide. It has left-handed transfer.

A designated accessible toilet designed for wheelchair users and others with visible and non-visible accessibility requirements is available within the main public areas.
