The Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) has launched the EICC Impact Network, a new initiative designed to help conference organisers create lasting, meaningful impact that goes beyond the venue walls.

Launched on 26th March, the network is built around the five pillars of the UN Sustainable Development Goals - People, Planet, Prosperity, Partnership and Peace. It connects organisers with schools, charities, universities and local businesses to turn big ideas into community-driven action.

From supporting young people and fostering inclusion to championing sustainability and sparking research partnerships, the EICC Impact Network makes it easier for events to make a difference.

“With so many fantastic social initiatives in Edinburgh, we wanted to make it much easier for clients to make a connection with a network of collaborators across the city,” said Elaine Miller, Association Manager at EICC. “The Impact Network demonstrates how business events can play a transformative role, creating positive benefits for the host city, local community, organisers, and delegates.”

Get involved:

  1. Explore the five pillars and align with your event goals
  2. Discuss your ideas with your EICC contact
  3. Connect with local partners through the Impact Network
