Welcome to the June 2026, review Roundup where we highlight some of the fantastic reviews that we have received this month. Last month we have decided to focus more on some of the fantastic self-catering and hotel accommodation that is available for our community to stay in and enjoy some time away from home during the summer. As well as accessible hotel and self-catering accommodation we look at some of the outdoor activates that are available to everyone.
Holiday Getaways

We have gathered some fantastic reviews to hopefully give you some hints and tips on where good places are to visit. If you have been anywhere that you would like to review, then why not write a review
Helenfarrington6233 shared her experience of the Homelands Trust in Fife as a first time powerchair user Helen was very impressed with the property that she stayed in with her family and would highly recommend the property to anyone looking for an accessible holiday. All the equipment that was needed was provided, and Helen had a very enjoyable holiday thank you, HelenFarrrintington6233 for your review.
Vajragupta has shared their experience of visiting Wraxall Yard. There are several Lodges available for visitors to enjoy. There are several facilities to enjoy which local people can enjoy as well. The facilities include a wet floor shower, high adjustable sink, there are also plenty of facilities nearby including a village shop and some lovely accessible walks for everyone to enjoy. The holiday flat has a level entrance and free parking and access to the promenade to go for a walk in the seaside town. Thank you Jmc for your review and we hope you enjoyed your stay.
Enjoying the outdoors
It's always nice to get out and about the warmer weather here are a few recommendations of accessible places to enjoy with family and friends. Craigtoun Country Park near Saint Andrews is highly recommended by Bellrock. The park has been made very accessible with the help of a community organisation Friends of Craigtoun. There are accessible paths and play equipment around the park for visitors to enjoy. There is also a cafe with plenty of space to move around and a ramped entrance which is a little steep. There are three accessible toilets within the park, including a changing places toilet. Thank you very much for your review Bellrock and for sharing it with our community.
There is nothing more refreshing than an outdoor swim on a summer’s day. Elliek21 visited Hayle outdoor swimming pool recently and was excited to find how accessible it was. There is an accessible level access changing room and an Iswim hoist available. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and reassured ellie21 as they were being transferred into the pool. Thank you so much for your review and for sharing it with our community.
