Today, 3rd December, marks the International Day of Disabled People (IDDP), the United Nations observance day to promote the rights and well-being of disabled people. This year, the theme calls on all of us to build truly disability-inclusive societies for advancing social progress.
At Euan’s Guide, we know that despite this call, disabled people, their friends, families, and carers still face the daily barrier of uncertainty when planning to explore, participate, or simply go out. This lack of reliable information can limit disabled people from fully taking part in society.
We like to think we combat this by putting the power of trusted, community-led reviews on EuansGuide.com into people's hands, building confidence and driving inclusion. We're proud of our work in providing free, trusted, disabled access information, and we know how valuable this is to our community - that's why we made huge improvements to our website and our user experience, thanks to generous funding from the Motability Foundation for our Travelling With Confidence project, which has enabled us to continue taking meaningful steps forward in improving accessibility every single day.
To show your support this IDDP, we invite you to take one simple but powerful step to foster an inclusive society: leave a disabled access review on the new-and-improved EuansGuide.com!
Why? Because your insights in real life make a real difference! By reviewing a café, museum, hotel, park, theatre, or any place you visit, your firsthand experience helps others plan with confidence, enjoy their visit, and feel truly included.
It only takes a few minutes to share what you found helpful or what could be improved, and remember - you are the expert in your experience. You’re not just writing a review; you’re helping build a community-powered map of disabled access information, making the world more open for everyone to explore and travel with confidence.
By reviewing disabled access on Euan's Guide, you're actively contributing to a more inclusive society this IDDP and beyond.
