The Scottish Thistle Awards are back for 2026, and the search is on to find this year’s tourism and events heroes! At Euan’s Guide, we are always delighted to see our venues shortlisted in the finals, and we want to make sure the 2026 awards are full of accessible and inclusive businesses.
The Scottish Thistle Awards are designed to recognise and honour the very best individuals, businesses, partnerships and events in the tourism industry. They have become an annual celebration of excellence, collaboration and innovation within one of the country’s most important sectors.
About the awards
This year, the awards recognise excellence across 19 categories, celebrating Scotland’s exceptional people, accommodation, food and drink, outdoor experiences, visitor attractions and events. Delivered by VisitScotland in partnership with regional awards programmes, the Scottish Thistle Awards combines five regional awards and a national final.
At Euan’s Guide, we believe accessibility should be a major priority for all venues. We’re glad that the awards continue to focus on organisations that take responsibility for inclusivity and thriving communities. It is a fantastic opportunity to ensure that tourism, and the individuals who work in the industry, are recognised for the positive impact they bring to the country.

We were so proud of our amazing Euan's Guide venues who took home awards in previous years, including Comrie Croft for Responsible Tourism. We can't wait to see who represents the best of inclusive tourism in 2026!
