Venue Description

Nestled within Regency Gardens in the heart of Brighton’s city centre sits the Royal Pavilion. This unique and distinctive landmark is a must-see for any visitor to this vibrant and popular seaside city. This extraordinary and extravagant palace was built for the Prince Regent, later King George IV, in stages between 1787 and 1823, and was also later used by King William IV and Queen Victoria. It is remarkable for its exotic Indian-inspired architecture contrasted with lavish oriental interiors. Revered by fashionable Regency society, this was a pleasure palace designed for entertainment, where George IV enjoyed playing host to his many esteemed guests.
