Good
Short visit during when social distancing measures where in place. This store has good parking facilities, bus links and I find it to be spacious for myself in a wheelchair.
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
There is an entrance on either side of the building (if you park or come by bus). It’s all level access throughout and no music plays in the store so I did not feel distracted or flustered.
Parking & Transport
Excellent
Gorgie has good transport links and there is also a large parking area. It is also next to Gorgie McDonalds.
Accessible Toilets
0There is an accessible toilet at the tills but I did not visit at this time.
Additional Information
There is a visual marker outside the door (green/red light) which tells you if the store was overcrowded. I couldn’t help but think this would not help people with visual impairments as no staff is there to say out loud if there is room. There is stickers around the shop floor so you can see how to socially distance if you can. There is also screens around the tills and staff were all wearing masks.
