Overview

This is a really great place to visit for all the family. There is so much to do that there was no way we could fit it all in in one day. There are activities in door and out so the weather doesn't really matter. We loved visiting the farm animals - some gorgeous babies when we visited and we were just in time for my kids to play in the new play area.

Transport & Parking

There were plenty of disabled parking spaces right next to the entrance which made parking very easy and straight forward. I noticed there there was a bus stop at the top of the road so not far at all.

Access

As we were travelling with a wheelchair, we found it very easy to get around as there weren't many steps. There were a couple of nooks and crannies that we couldn't quite access but could get right up close to see the animals and staff were so good in making sure we got a good spot for animal encounter sessions and milking demos. The only thing we couldn't access with a wheelchair was the train but the tractor was fitted with a lift and safety bars so we were very happy with a tractor ride instead of the train. I believe there is only one wheelchair spot on each tractor ride so best to mention to the staff as soon as you can.

Toilets

We used two disabled toilets and they were very spacious and easy to access.

Staff

The staff were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly.

Overall, it was such a fun day and we will be back. My daughter didn't feel like she missed out on a thing being confined to a wheelchair and my other children took advantage of the play areas and soft play. We'll be visiting again very soon.
