The Bruce Trust has four specially-designed, purpose-built, wide-beam canal boats for hire for disabled, disadvantaged or elderly people. They all have wide-access aluminium boarding ramps, hydraulic lifts, wet rooms with specially-fitted showers and loos and two of the boats have a remote steering device enabling anyone with limited upper body movement to enjoy the experience of steering one of these 60 feet long boats.
