The accessibility arrangements were not clear on arrival at the castle, but the staff were incredibly helpful and once they saw my walking poles we were driven to the key sights within the castle grounds. Wheelchair and mobility scooter users would be able to view most parts of the gardens and castle. There are specific lifts to access some parts of the castle, and wheelchairs available for people with limited mobility to cover this huge site.
