    Good

Bankhead Tram Stop is one of the easier tram stops to navigate as it's just off Bankhead Drive with level access from the pavements. Located close to the Gyle, which is home to innumerable businesses and only a short walk from Edinburgh College and Edinburgh Napier University, this stop is well suited to people who work or study in the area.

This tram stop has two platforms on either side of the track. The crossing here isn’t controlled, so although trams sound a bell as they approach, it’s worth taking a moment to check before you cross. Both platforms are reached by ramps, and boarding is level. The accessible boarding point is marked with a wheelchair symbol on the platform, so it’s easy to find. As with many stops across the city, there’s seating both under cover and out in the open, giving you options depending on the weather or how long you’re waiting. You can get a ticket from the machines, tap in with a smart card or use the ET app if that’s more convenient. The platform edges have tactile markings, and there are help points with braille if you need information or need to contact someone in an emergency. Each unit also displays a hearing loop symbol.

I travelled to this place by walk or wheel

I noted that some cars were parked along Bankhead Drive, although there are no marked bays, accessible or otherwise. This street also allows space for drop off, although this is not marked. For those arriving by bus, there are regular buses running along Bankhead Drive.
