This tour is no longer running. Have you ever wondered what happens at the BBC's worldwide headquarters, Broadcasting House? Why not visit us for a wonderful insight into the world of BBC broadcasting. Our entertaining guides will take you on a fun and informative tour with the opportunity to be a news or weather presenter or take part in making your own radio play. The tours run up to 15 times a day, seven days a week.

Accessibility

The tour is fully accessible for wheelchair users and mobility scooters. A wheelchair is also available on request; please call our group bookings and access needs line in advance on 0370 901 1227. Textphone for hearing impaired callers: 0370 903 0304. Please also call this number for any other access-related queries. There is a hearing loop system available at the BBC Tours welcome desk in the Media Café. A sign language interpreter can be booked in advance by calling 0370 901 1227. Textphone for hearing impaired callers: 0370 903 0304. Our Tour Guides are disability and disability-access trained. Please bear in mind there is some walking on the tour. Seating is available at certain points of the tour.

Toilets

The toilets are located in the public Media Café. There is one accessible toilet with rails and two toilets with rails which are located within the main ladies toilet facilities. The accessible toilet is not locked and is unisex. There is also an unlocked accessible toilet located in Old Broadcasting House on the ground level (near to the Radio Drama interactive area). This can be accessed during the tour if required.

Staff

The Operations Manager is disability and disability-access trained. She is also First-Aid trained and has a Mental Health First Aid certificate. We have a team of Duty Tour Coordinators who are all First-Aid trained. All of our Our Tour Guides are disability and disability-access trained.
