You can reach Pickering by Coastliner bus. Please check with the bus company with regard to the accessibility of their buses. The nearest mainline station is Malton, 8 miles away. This station has ramped access to the platform. You may come to Pickering from Whitby on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, whose terminal station in Pickering is just round the corner from Beck Isle Museum. Please check with NYMR about travelling on their heritage railway.

Parking

Disabled visitors can park along the side of the Museum (turn off Bridge Street, down a steep slope onto an unadopted road). This area is tarmaced but there are no marked parking bays and therefore no dedicated disabled people's parking bays.
