Belmont Bed and Breakfast is a charming 18th-century cottage located in the heart of the village of Wrelton near Pickering in North Yorkshire. Convenient for town, country, moors, forests and coast, we are within easy reach of York, Whitby, Thirsk and Scarborough. At Belmont B&B we provide comfortable guest accommodation with five en-suite bedrooms (single, twins, and king size) including an easy access ground floor room, each offering modern facilities enhanced by many original character features.

Disabled Access at Belmont Bed and Breakfast

We have an accessible room at the rear of the property. It has a ramp from the car park to the entrance door. There are no steps between the room and the breakfast room. The room itself is twin or double bed option and has a wet-room style en-suite shower. The floor is porcelain tiled throughout. The wet-room has grab rails positioned near the shower and has a raised toilet with grab bars.

We have a private car park at the rear of the property where the accessible room is located. The car park is gravel but the ramp to the accessible room is situated for off loading and the ramp is concrete.

We have an accessible toilet in the ground floor room. The toilet has a drop-down support bar on the left and a wall grab bar to the right. The WC pan is 51cm/ 20 inches from the floor to the toilet seat. The basin is 87cm/ 34 inches high. The basin taps are lever taps. The basin and shower area have grab bars.
