Super service and perfect lunch stop

This was a perfect stop to grab a quick lunch before my train home. It was quite busy when I entered but staff quickly helped me find a table to sit at that was free. The main reason for such a highly rated review was how brilliant the staff were here. They were immediately available to help but not in an overbearing or patronising manner. They offered me lots of support but were happy to leave me to it when I didn’t need them. I would go back here mainly because of how great the service was.
Disabled Access In and Around
Excellent
There were double doors at the entrance, these had been left open when I entered so I had no issues being able to get in and out. There were also no steps or lips to navigate. There were self-service screens that you could order from, you could order with staff at the counter or there was a QR code at every table as well. The counter was quite high but staff also offered to take my order at my table if that was better for me. There were lots of seating options available. It was very busy when I went, so some areas were quite cramped. Staff were really helpful in making sure I got sat somewhere suitable. Most of the seats and tables were standard height tables with moveable seats. Some of the tables against the back wall had a bench seat along the wall. There were also a few bar height tables and chairs in the centre. There were lots of plug sockets available around the seats which were available to charge devices.

I travelled to this place by walk or wheel
This is directly opposite Edinburgh Waverley Station. There are also a number of bus stops outside, some of the same side of the road, others on the opposite side. Between either side, there are a large number of different bus services available. There is not much parking nearby, there is a small amount near St Andrew Square which is around the corner. St Andrew Square tram stop is also around the corner, just under 200 metres from the coffee shop.
Accessible Toilets
There was a toilet which was through a door that required a code that you could get from the staff. I didn't have time to visit the loo so I'm unsure if it was accessible or not.

Excellent
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful here and I really appreciated it. Because it was so busy I was worried about finding a table, but before I’d even had a chance to properly look they immediately came and met me and pointed out some options that could be good for me. Then they came over once I’d got settled and pointed out the QR code and said I could order via that or that they would be happy to take my order from me at the table. I was really impressed with the service I got here, it was the perfect balance of attentive and helpful, without seeming patronising which can happen.
