Visit to shop and cafe
We stopped here on our way home to get a Christmas tree. The drive way in the car park is all tarmac but where you park is gravel. They had a few blue badge spaces next to the pathway that leads to the shop so you don’t have to go over much of the gravel but this gravel is mostly well trodden down.the Christmas trees were all in a marquee under cover which was great. The two people who were on duty here were very helpful moved cones soil could access an easier way to get into the marquee. They asked what size tree we wanted and found some suitable for us to choose from , they held them up and turned them round so we could see all sides to make sure we liked it.once chosen they netted it up and carried it to our car and helped my husband get it in the boot. We then went into the farm shop which had an excellent selection of fruit, veg, bakery items, butchers, deli, drinks cabinets, plus gifts and other food items . There was plenty of room to get round the shop and entry was via an automatic door and slope . Once we had made our purchases and they had been stored in our car we had lunch in the cafe which was very busy despite it being mid week. Plenty of choice of food from sandwiches to jacket potatoes and toasties plus main meals as well as hot drinks and cakes . The food we had was very good and we will be revisiting when in that area. All the staff we came across were very helpful
