Cambridge University Botanic Garden

The website states the majority of the gardens are wheelchair accessible and while this might have technically been true, it was not without struggle. I am a manual wheelchair user and was unable to propel across much of the terrain unaided. The paths were gravel and most gardens couldn't be viewed properly from the paths and required you to go across the grass and there no dropped curbs. The corridors to access the accessible toilets in the cafe also had very narrow corridors which difficult to manouver in.

Easy, easy, easy - everything is perfect no matter what is required. Great paths, plenty of seats, good food, knowledgeable, interesting and helpful staff in all respects a fabulous venue.

We were very happy with the wheelchair access. The paths were wide enough and easy to manoeuvre over. We enjoyed our visit to the cafe and enjoyed a sensory experience.
