Small bus station

There is a set of automatic sliding doors opposite the archway which lead out to the bus stop. On to of the archway leading to the waiting area, there is a white sign protruding from the wall with a large red circle with a large letter 'G' inside it. Below the 'G' is a smaller sign which shows the bus 330 is available from this stop. To the right of the waiting area, there is another set of automatic sliding doors which offer another way to enter and exit the bus station

This bus station is attached to one of the entrances to Canning Town Underground Station. It has a central concourse that runs down the centre of the bus station with waiting areas and automatic sliding doors for each stop. Each waiting area, for each stop, had quite a lot of seating within it. There are seven stops in total at this station designated ‘A’ to ‘G’. There was a small shop, an accessible toilet and an information desk within the bus station. The accessible toilet required a member of staff to unlock it and I couldn’t find one at the information desk so I was unable to use it.

The entrance into the bus station is within the entrance to the Underground station. It is just an archway leading off from the Underground entrance and it doesn’t have any doors or lips to navigate. There are additional entrances along the whole station which have automatic sliding doors leading from the street where the buses actually stop. The floor throughout is a smooth stone tile. At the entrance to the bus station there is a tall sign which has arrows to show where to go for each bus stop. Each bus stop is indicated with large red circles with white letters in the centre and these are located above the automatic sliding doors leading out to the bus stop itself and on the outside of the waiting area for each stop. The signs outside the waiting area are above the archway into the area. They are white signs that protrude from the wall with the large letter within them. Beneath the letter is another sign which indicates which buses will stop at each bus stop. The waiting areas each have seating available inside them. These seats have backs and armrests on them. The bus stops are all by a decent height curb for the buses to deploy the ramp onto.

There are seven stops in total at this bus station, each one has different buses that stop there. Across all the stops, these are the buses that stop at this station: 5, 69, 115, 147, 300, 309, 323, 330, 474, N15, N550, and N551. There is no designated parking at this station or for the Underground station. Next door to the bus station is the Canning Town Underground Station. It is on the Jubilee and DLR lines. The Jubilee platforms provide eastbound services to Stratford and westbound services to Stanmore. There are a number of different DLR platforms as Canning Town is an interchange point between different branches of the DLR. From this station there are DLR trains to Woolwich Arsenal, Stratford International, Beckton, Tower Gateway and Bank.
