All Saints Station: DLR line
This is a DLR station with two platforms where you can get DLR trains to Stratford and Canary Wharf. The station is above ground so it’s located outside although there are some sections of both platforms that have canopies to provide some cover. Access to this station is from street level which is higher than the platforms. Lifts and stairs provide access to each platform.
This is an unmanned station so there aren’t any ticket barriers but there are points to tap in. There are also some ticket machines based in the entryway before you go down to the platforms.
The entrance to the station is from the street with step-free access. There are two sets of stairs and corresponding lifts to each platform with signage to show which trains stop at each platform. The lifts have tactile buttons, a hearing loop and are fairly spacious. Although there was some very bizarre blue lighting going on… I felt like I was at a crime scene!
When you’re on the platform there is tactile paving and a painted yellow line to highlight where the edge of the platform is. There is also some seating available on each platform. Once the train arrives there is a small gap between the train and the platform but it’s manageable for those on wheels to still get on and off with ease.
