Cannonball Restaurant & Bar

Very touristy I had haggis on a whisky cream sauce and pickled turnip (their signature dish , called “Cannonballs” ) for starter Lots of tartan , right next to the castle But good quality food, albeit touristy Completely accessible (I did not use it but there is a toilet plus a lift from street level to restaurant )

I can't add anything to the other review except to say that there's just something cool about platform lifts (where it's not a self contained box but rather the floor moves up and down between levels)

Unexpected accessible restaurant with beautiful views of Edinburgh Castle and serving delicious food.
