Carnaby Street

We popped down to Carnaby Street to see the Xmas lights switch on. What was amazing was the number of local pubs that were accessible. O'Neils and the Ganton Arms both had accessible toilets and level access. The staff at both locations were great too. If you are in Oxford Street or nearby and need the loo, it's good to know that just a short scoot down Regent's Street is Carnaby Street, where you know you can visit the loo, buy a nice meal (The Ganton Arms menu looked amazing) and shop on this iconic street. Not all the shops are accessible though, although some have ramps they can get out if required. I should also point out Kingly Court, which has plenty of eateries and toilets on the top floor, accessible by a lift, which also has an accessible toilet. Carnaby Street seems an oasis of accessible toilets in an area that can sometimes leave you feeling desperate. I know I'm going to pop there more often now, just maybe not to shop.
