Situated on Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow city centre, CCA is a hub for arts events, cultural organisations and artists. Alongside CCA's visual arts programme of exhibitions, artists' events and residencies, the venue is host to a range of festivals, creative organisations and arts groups who bring their own events to CCA through our open-source approach to programming. Located on the ground floor and first floor of CCA, Saramago Café Bar serves fresh, tasty food every day, with home-baked bread and cakes every morning. Saramago stocks a range of quality beers, ciders, wines and juices at reasonable prices within a relaxed atmosphere, and offers a great outdoor terrace in the heart of the city centre.

    Great access

Visited Saramamgo cafe for lunch with friends. Staff were very helpful at moving tables and fitting us all in. Table height could have been better but problem was solved by elevating my plate on top of a bowl. Great food, great books and exhibitions. Lift to other levels. Well worth a visit. Could really do with automatic doors though.

    Art Space with Disabled Access

For disabled visitors, the Centre for Contemporary Arts (CCA) provides various facilities to ensure accessibility. These include ramps, designated spaces, and accessible restrooms, making it easier for all guests to enjoy the exhibitions and events. Cool amazing building with access in mind

This is an amazing building that I always wanted to visit, it always has really interesting shows advertised and the shop window always looked interesting. Our hotel was round the corner and it was the perfect opportunity to check it out. I was really glad to get the chance to see Rob Churn's so which was closing that weekend!
