Overview
Very welcoming staff and an accessible venue with plenty of parking nearby.
Transport & Parking
This is right in the town so there are plenty of buses and a railway line runs very close, though I don't know how far to the station. There is a big car park nearby in Coval Lane but we couldn't find the disabled parking. Theatre staff later explained you had to drive past the theatre (a dead end road) and press the button on the barrier and theatre staff would let you through. They do need to explain this more clearly on their website and in their brochure.
Access
Wide automatic doors made for easy access. There is a carpeted ramp down to the wheelchair spaces. The bar is easily accessible in the foyer. The wheelchair spaces were at the end of the Front five rows of stalls and easy to get to.
Toilets
A good disabled toilet with sufficient space and no junk stored there! A wide door made it easy to turn into.
Staff
The staff were the cherry on the cake. There were quite a few disabled people there with all different disabilities. The duty manager Kelly came and greeted us which was great as we didn't know the venue at all. She came and checked on us at the interval and at the end and was just very helpful and supportive generally.
