Chiemsee Barrierefrei

Located near to the Chiemsee, Germany's largest lake, this is a new property designed for accessibility. The owners cater both for groups and individual families. It's a lovely area with wildlife in the fields outside but also close to the facilities at the lake. Salzburg is 45 minutes away and Berchtesgaden is a 30 minute or so drive. Lots of restaurants and breweries in the area, small towns and countryside. The house has two ground floor apartments that are properly barrier free. There is a wheelchair lift to the upper floors. We stayed in the family apartment which was well equipped with our own outdoor space. The owners have a care background and worked with an architect to design the building - they also provide equipment if it's needed and are very helpful. They can arrange carers if required.
