Poor
Very small disabled toilets. If youre lucky enough to fit your wheelchair there is no more floorspace.
Disabled Access In and Around
Average
Disabled toilets are located next to the other toilets so easy to find. The lift is small and a squeeze with a wheelchair and carer- it is also slow and on several visits has been broken. Level flooring, wheelchair spaces are easy to find in the screens and suitable.
Parking & Transport
Good
There are 8 or 9 disabled bays outside the Cinema, however they are nearly always full and for a large complex with a bowling alley and numerous restaurants the proportion of disabled bays is not working.
Accessible Toilets
Bad
Appalling. There are 3 disabled toilets- all incredibly small and totally unsuitable for anyone who cannot walk/needs to be assisted in changing. You cannot fit a wheelchair/buggy and a carer in the room. As a carer I have had to leave a wheelchair outside the door and lift a child in order to change them on the floor which is unacceptable. Several visits the toilets have been blocked and the bathroom unclean. It is also a babychanging facility so often used by families. There is a nappy disposal bin and grab hand rails. No hoist or changing bed (no room!).
Staff
Good
Staff are generally helpful but there isnt much they can do about the appalling facilities! Often young staff so sometimes are not aware of how to solve the issues, such as cleanliness, quickly.
Additional Information
After contacting Cineworld direct via email in May 2017 I recieved a response to say they have no plans to include a disabled facility with a hoist or adult sized changing bed at any of their cinemas.
