Overview

One star given for the fact that they actually have a lift and 3 disabled toilets, however they really need to train their staff. I get out of my wheelchair to watch films as it's slightly comfier for me, however when telling the person who checks the tickets this and that you come under the disabled persons evacuation policy because of it you get a completely blank look. They are supposed to write down that fact and what seat you are in so that they know if there is an evacuation where you are to either come and help you to evacuate or tell the emergency services where you are, here???? Nothing but a blank look as if "what the hell are you telling me this for" it's appalling. Starbucks counters and all the concessions stands are far too high and it's hard to then pay with a card, never once do they offer to help or ask if you need anything. I'm glad I bought my CEA card because otherwise I'd have to pay to have someone with me to help do what staff really should be helping with.

Transport & Parking

Too few spaces, often filled with people waiting to collect McDonalds orders who refuse to move, or people dropping others or children (without any member of the car with a disability and no blue badges in windows etc) off at restaurants. The carpark staff very rarely do anything to help with this and there is usually at least one car parked in the blue badge spaces without a badge in at all.

Access

Lift very small and often dirty, carpet hard to push on if you self propel and hardly any/no seats around to sit on whilst you wait to go into screen or for friends etc. Concessions stands too high and awkward to use without an able bodied helper.

Toilets

They have about 3 disabled toilets which are also (as per usual) baby changes. They often have water all over the floor and the sanitary bins often stop the bar from working safely. There is nothing to stop able bodied people from using them and I often find them engaged only to find someone who didn't want to queue for the other toilets coming out of them. I know there are hidden disabilities but the guilty face and "the queue was really long" comments give them away as not needing the disabled loos!!!

Staff

No help at all, don't give you confidence that they have any idea how to look after/deal with any disabled customers (unless it's handing out audio description devices).

Anything else you wish to tell us?

Have tried, on numerous occasions, complaining to both Cineworld Crawley and head office only to be brushed off and given form responses which are completely unhelpful. Wish I had a better alternative!!
