Overview

I am an ambulatory wheelchair user, and live in wells. Wells is a lovely place to visit, however it’s not the best for wheelchair access. A lot of The pavements are uneven and cobbled, and there is a lack of drop curbs, but I can manage in my manual wheelchair. A lot of the shops are accessible, but a lot have small steps, or a wheelchair can’t fit round them. The wells cathedral is good for wheelchair access, with ramps and wide door ways. Good disabled parking.
