Nothing to do with access but I love this photo. It shows a house across the lake with red maple climbing all over it. It is framed by a tree where we often stop and let my dog play.

Lovely wide flat path on the other side of the lake. The surface is compressed gravel but it has a topping of something soft.

Carved out of the ancient forest of Sherwood, Clumber Park is a scenic National Trust site spread across 3,800 acres of parkland, woods and heath. Formerly the estate of the Dukes of Newcastle, it now offers miles of tranquil trails, beautiful gardens, a Gothic-style chapel and peaceful lakeside views. Visitors can enjoy the on-site cafés, shops, play areas, and wildlife-rich landscapes throughout the seasons.
