Clydeshopmobility is a charity who aims to enable people to access shops, cafes, services and just generally get out of the house and be part of the community. It helps people with mobility problems or visual impairment to maintain their independence and to improve their lifestyle. We provide a range of mobility equipment from manual wheelchairs to motorised scooters. It also provides a “sighted guide” service and ‘partnership access’ to a service supporting people with hearing loss. We operate from Clydebank, Balloch and Alexandria.

A very accessible shop to help people with mobility problems

It is a high accessibility shop where you can find great, knowledgeable and really friendly staff. You can become a member of the community and have access to several services: use of mobility equipment, a sighted guide service and ‘partnership access’ to a service supporting people with hearing loss.

Disabled Access at Clyde Shopmobility

Our shop is located on the ground floor, easily accessible. We have a main entrance automatic and a ramp to facilitate access to people with mobility disabilities.

- a space for the disabled person and up to two carers - a centrally placed toilet with a large room

Accessible toilet

A designated accessible toilet designed for wheelchair users and others with visible and non-visible accessibility requirements is available within the main public areas.
