Good

I have found myself shopping more at my local Co-op store since becoming disabled. The store has a fantastic range of foods and is very well laid out. The aisles are spacious with very few obstacles to get a walker or mobility scooter around.

Disabled Access In and Around

Excellent

Every thing is on one floor with very easy access via movement activated double doors. The store has an induction loop and aids to help enlarge print if you ask. Also all co-op own brand cans have braille on the labels.

Parking & Transport

Good

Large spacious carpark with several blue badge parking spaces. There is a bus stop near by but the bus service is not always reliable or user friendly for disabled customers.

Accessible Toilets

Excellent

Toilets are easy to access but staff permission is required to access them as they are within a staff only area.

Staff

Good

Staff were very friendly and helpful although avoid school lunch break, the store is next door to a large secondary school so is extremely busy. I was served by Suzy who was knowledgeable and very helpful with packing, she was very patient and made shopping less of a chore.

Additional Information

Masks are not compulsory but I did see a staff member wearing one because of her own health conditions.
