Overall Rating
Good
I stumbled upon Coldingham Priory and took a short wander through the grounds. There's a particular beauty in a lone stone archway, perfectly framing the landscape like a window peering through to the past. I didn't enter the Church but the time I spent in the grounds was delightful. Although closed at the time, the Luckenbooth coffee show is near the entrance and a handy secondhand bookshop
Disabled Access In and Around
I arrived via the High Street entrance, near the Luckenbooth, and found the walkway to be well maintained and free of debris, leading down through the stone arch to the Church. It's a gradual slope, which makes going down a lot more fun than going up. As you round the Church, the terrain changes to gravel, and I felt I couldn't go any further. There are no benches along the route and no alternative formats in use, which is why I've rated a little lower here.
Accessible facilities: Step-free entrance

There are two designated accessible parking spaces in the nearby car park, though I should make clear that these do not have hatched markings and are not much larger than a standard parking space. Parking is free, however. For those arriving by bus, the 335 stops at the High Street entrance.

There is an accessible toilet at the Luckenbooth near the High Street entrance.
