CRAFT CENTRAL CIC is a creative education provider aiming to increase accessibility to craft activities and to support the craft sector in Dunblane and the surrounding areas. Our accessible High Street venue houses studio facilities for the Central Scotland School of Craft and the Central Scotland School of Jewellery, who host an unparalleled selection of artisan workshops where you can learn silver jewellery making, weaving, printmaking, mosaics, and much much more. Our contemporary craft gallery stocks work by local makers and the talented tutors who deliver our workshop programme.

Disabled Access Information Provided by Craft Central

Disabled Access at Craft Central

The Craft Workshop is on the level of the main entrance and is easy for wheelchair users to access the space. The Jewellery workshop is down a flight of stairs however we have an elevator. We also have an additional, accessible entrance, located at the rear of the building beside a car park. Although our studio is wheelchair accessible, please get in touch before the course date so that we can create a Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEP) with you if needed. We welcome students with disabilities however the workshop activities do require a degree of co-ordination, physical effort and good eyesight. Please call us if you have any questions. We are also very happy to arrange a studio visit in advance of booking.

We have an accessible toilet on our lower level which can be accessed via a lift. The toilet has grab rails and a higher positioned toilet.
