There are two ways to get to Croftfoot train station from the road: via a long level path or via a shorter but still significant incline. There is one way to get from the underpass up to the platform: via stairs with at least 30 steps. There is no way for me to take a train at this station as a disabled person with limited mobility and wheelchair user.

Croftfoot station has one platform between the rails that is accessed via stairs from an underpass. Getting to the underpass already involves a significant amount of walking or wheeling along paths that are fairly smooth but do not have any seating. There are over 30 steps with railings at different heights on both sides and in the middle. There are tactile markings at the bottom of the stairs, but the contrast paint is mostly worn away.

There is some street parking on Kings Park Avenue, which connects to the 40-metre-long downward slope towards the station, as well as on Croftend Avenue, which connects to a 90-metre-long level path to the station. Both of these streets are residential, so the street parking is limited by driveways. The closest bus stops are Kings Park Avenue and Bankhead Road (7A), which are about 80 metres from the underpass and downhill towards the station.
