Overview

Organic farm shop and cafe with excellent views of the North Yorkshire countryside. It has a children's outdoor play area, plenty of parking. It's wheelchair accessible and has something for everyone!

Transport & Parking

This venue lies off the A66. I drove there as I live in nearby Barnard Castle. It has ample parking and a disabled parking area. The car park operates a one way system. Drive past the first opening and carry onto the second on the right hand side.

Access

The accessible entrance is wheelchair friendly with a door that opens inwards. If you have help then another person opening it would make it easier. There's plenty of seating both inside and outside. It's self serve and the café is fairly well laid out with space for wheelchair users.

Toilets

The accessible toilet is large enough to manoeuvre, with grab rails. Easy to find and clean and tidy.

Staff

The staff are helpful both in the café and the farm shop. The latter has locally sourced organic products and hand made gifts . It's dog friendly.
