The Cruck Cottage is the last remaining example of a basic thatched dwelling that was common in this area in the 18th and 19th century. It has been carefully restored and maintained, and provides an insight into the living conditions of a bygone age.Accessibility
Parking is available on the street adjoining the cottage, and assisted wheelchair access is possible from there. Also vehicle access is possible up to the door of the cottage, for drop off. Cottage staff are always willing to assist with wheelchair, and disabled access to the cottage.
