    Great staff

Wonderful, helpful staff, both in the restaurant and the castle itself. Being able to get to the upper floor with the Presidential Lift makes the tour complete. Guides were proactive in offering and helping oth the access through the rooms and into the lift. The Country Park site map can be improved to be clearer about where wheelchair access arking is available and what it can lead to. There are many gravelled paths which make moving around the grounds in places hard work and time consuming. Over all it was great to be able to visit this site and usefully see and spend a day admiring the heritage and views.

    Lovely family day out

Culzean Castle was a lovely family day out with lots of walks and a nice coffee and I was very surprised to be able to access both floors of the castle through a very small lift

    Visit with sisters

My sisters and I went for a trip down memory lane on the anniversary our fathers passing. From a very young age Culzean has been a very important central part of our lives. Over the years the National Trust have improved and upgraded the paths. In the past I thought the improvements took away from the wild magic of the place but now as a wheelchair user I am grateful for the ability to still visit and enjoy. There are disabled toilets at each of the main buildings, they are basic but clean. All areas are accessible even the upper floors of the main castle have an original lift installed for Eisenhower. I felt privileged using it. The paths in winter can be a bit mucky but still usable with care.
