Royal Artillery Cottage, Culzean Castle, is a holiday accommodation in Maybole, South Ayrshire with magnificent views across the Firth of Clyde to the island of Arran. Resting on the National Trust for Scotland’s Culzean Castle estate, boasting wonderful sea views across to Arran, is Royal Artillery Cottage, a characterful, all ground floor holiday home at the heart of the castle’s sandstone stable block. Once the living quarters for the grooms, coachmen and stable boys responsible for the Marquess’s horses, it now offers a group of four a highly desirable base for a coastal escape to Scotland. This accessible cottage is well suited to a variety of groups, with sliding doors and a ramped entrance offering an accessible entrance, some wheelchair guests may require assistance up the ramp into the front door. At the end of each day, seek comfort in one of the two well presented bedrooms, consisting of a double with a convenient zip/link function that can be made into a twin on request, and a further twin, both served by the accessible family bathroom with a bath and a separate wheel-in shower with a chair. Please note there is no red pull cord in the bathrooms.
