Overview

Went here on 26.6.18 had with me a wheel chair user and an elderly person. We waited 45mins for food The cafe was not full so I moved chairs for wheel chair access and was asked not to do so as customers could not be seated. The cutlery was filthy was informed dish washer was not working. Tables were being cleaned with one cloth not cleaned just gone from table to table. When food came it was over cooked . I have so many complaints about this Cafe.

Transport & Parking

1.5

Main Street was full disabled spaces near centre had parking that did not display a blue badge so it was hard for us to park Not Good .

Access

0.5

In the St Johns Centrie shops were not made for wheel chairs to much clutter and to much stuff displayed to close for anyone to get round making it impossible for disabled people. The centre it’s self was good.

Toilets

1.5

The cafe was good with this although it faces onto the cafe making it off putting for customers and disabled in access as you again have to pass tables and chairs to go round to toilet and it faces outward to cafe.

Dreadful in Debanhams Cafe when asked if food was coming was told yes never told why it took 45mins I thought they were catching the fish. Not helpfuil at all. When asked why the knives and forks were filthy dish washer at fauilt.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

I do not think in this day and age it should be so hard for wheel chair users to get into cafes this place was bad. I asked to move chairs to get the chair in and was then asked not to do so as others could not be seated what others? It was dead.
