Druridge Bay Country Park

There's an official website that gives useful information including public transport information - http://www.northumberland.gov.uk/local/Parks.aspx When visiting the area, this is my favourite place - just beautiful and perfect for the dog. Easy to access the sand if you have robust wheels though best avoid the really dry or really wet sand. There's a visitor centre and country park on the land side of the car park. The path round the lake is very accessible.
