Edinburgh Fringe - Venue 43, 2026 We wheeled to the Hall directly from the Pleasance Courtyard venue. This was a fairly steep uphill incline. There is a gentler route from the Royal Mile. The Hall is on a cobblestone square. There is ramp access to the Annex and the Hall. The accessible toilet is inside the Hall building (level access). Staff very helpful and gave us early access to the Annex before the Fringe show.

    Disabled Access In and Around

This is for the Annex at the Space @ the Symposium Hall rather than the Hall itself. A ramp led from the street into the Annex. This ramp also provided wheelchair access to the Hall where the accessible toilet is located for the two venues. Access to the Annex and inside the Annex itself is level.

Accessible facilities: Single-level venue, Step-free entrance

The toilet has grab bars and drop down side bar. There was enough space for me in my wheelchair and carer to manoeuvre.

Very helpful especially as we were drenched after an Edinburgh downpour. The allowed us to access the Annex early so we could get settled.
