Welcome to Elgin Museum, Scotland's oldest continuously independent museum. The Museum’s collections are housed in a Category A listed building at the east end of Elgin High Street, Moray, in the North East of Scotland. Here you can see objects from all over the world, with a special focus on Moray, and from all periods of history and prehistory from before the dinosaurs to the present day. Please explore our website to find out more about the Museum: changing exhibitions, school visits, family events, lectures, resources for heritage and collections research. Follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and our YouTube channel.
