Farfield is a restored Victorian woollen mill in a quiet corner of Cumbria and in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Filled with artist studios, exhibitions, heritage displays, working looms, art, and craft for sale by local artists, plus tea and cake at the Tea Room, there is something for everyone.

Disabled Access Information Provided by Farfield Mill

Disabled Access at Farfield Mill

The main entrance to the Mill is accessed via a ramp. There is a lift to all levels and accessible facilities on each floor. Chairs are dotted around the Mill for little breaks and to take in the view. There are induction loops at reception, in our learning studios for workshop participants and at the Tea Room till.

Parking Facilities – Free accessible parking is available 25 metres from the entrance to the Mill.

Accessible Toilets – There are accessible toilets on every floor with grab rails and easy turn taps. The toilets on level 2, 3 and 4 can be accessed with manual or powered wheel chairs.

A designated accessible toilet designed for wheelchair users and others with visible and non-visible accessibility requirements is available within the main public areas.
