Ferry Meadows, Nene Park

Ferry Meadows is the ideal place for a family day out and one of the largest country parks in the region. Situated less than three miles from Peterborough city centre, at the heart of Nene Park, its varied landscapes make it the favourite destination for thousands of visitors throughout the year. Whether you’re looking to walk, cycle, try some watersports, enjoy a cup of tea in one of the cafés, go fishing or just explore the meadows, lakes and woodland, there's something for everyone at Ferry Meadows. With the paths around the main areas of the Park being hard surfaced and a minimum width of two metres, this is a suitable area for wheelchair users. All buildings are wheelchair accessible and there are accessible toilets, a Changing Places toilet and an accessible changing room as part of the Watersports and Activity Centre.
